Lieutenant Wayne Jordan
Wayne Jordan first started as a dispatcher for the Cheraw Police Department in 1992. Upon successful completion of the S.C. Criminal Justice Academy in 1995, Wayne became a certified law enforcement officer. He left Cheraw for a few years to pursue law enforcement in Rock Hill.
He returned to Chesterfield County in 2003 as an investigator for the Chesterfield County Sheriff's Office where he has since remained employed. Wayne has risen through the ranks as a sergeant, staff sergeant, lieutenant, and captain. Wayne currently serves as the lieutenant over investigations and courthouse security. Additionally, he is also the commander of the SWAT team and conducts training for firearms, TASER, and chemical mace.
Wayne also graduated from the FBI Command College in 2017.
In addition to law enforcement, Wayne is also part of the Second Chance Ministry, based out of Florence. He is the bus driver for the gospel group as well as the newest singer.
